When it comes to weight loss, you won’t get anywhere without goals.

Get a notebook and dedicate this notebook for your goals. Answer each one of these questions in as much detail as possible. The more specific you are the better because it will give you a map for how to reach your goals and keep them! Keep the answers to these questions in a place where you can read over them once a week to recommit to why you are doing this.

What have been your reasons for why you have not reached your fitness goals?

What is your plan to eliminate these obstacles so you can reach your goals?

Who can you recruit as a support partner or accountability partner?

How will you reward yourself on a weekly basis?

What will be your key things you will measure to track your progress?

What is your real “why” for wanting to change? (Spouse, family, friends)

How many days will you commit to working out per week?

What day will you choose to be your cheat day and what will you eat?

When you do reach a roadblock what will be your strategy to manage it?

15 Minute KILLER Leg & Butt Workout

Sometimes, it can be so hard to squeeze a workout into your busy day . . . as work-at-home moms, we can totally relate!

As we worked with a personal trainer, physical therapist, and dietitian to develop our home workout programs and healthy eating plans, we knew that they had to be “busy mom” approved. The workouts had to be short and effective, the eating plans had to be family-friendly so that we didn’t have to make separate healthy meals for ourselves.

Today we wanted to share our favorite leg workout with you . . . it literally takes 15 minutes and you will definitely be feeling it the next day (but that means it’s working, right?!).


This workout is from our 30 Workouts in 30 Minutes or Less home workout program – all the workouts can be done at home with little or no equipment and are incredibly effective.

Here are the moves broken down:

10 Air Squats

10 Lunges with a Leg Lift (10 on each side)
*if you have a bench, you can step up on it for a harder workout, or you can just do them standing like we did in the video)

10 Plie Squats

10 Straight Leg Raises while on hands and knees (10 on each side)
